Scrutton Street

Hub were invited to enter a closed competition to design a new headquarters premises for Service Point. The existing building was previously a print production warehouse and storage facility, close to the City of London in EC1.

Hub identified the need for Service Point to enhance their interface with the public using an approachable façade and exhibition space and a café on to the ground level. Interactive touch screens located at street level and digital printing are celebrated in the open plan reception area.

Offices are connected to the double height atrium by large internal windows and a distinctive staircase leads from ground level to the administrative floors.

A dynamic carbon glazed arch allows natural light in to the rear of the building and defines the working areas without creating barriers to internal communication.
