Willow House planning granted

HUB have just secured planning permission and Listed Building Consent for alterations and extension to a Grade II listed detached property on Totteridge Common. The house has a complex building history dating back to the sixteenth century with several unattractive alterations added during the twentieth century. We worked closely with the planning and conservation officers to produce an acceptable scheme for contemporary family living whilst avoiding harm to its historic significance following pre-application advice. A new extension is to be added to the rear of the property to create a larger kitchen and breakfast room area and new living room, and the existing layout is to be reordered to make it more functional.
