Hub has recently gained planning permission for a new conservatory to replace an old lean-to on the rear of this listed townhouse. The traditional design, with a contemporary twist introduces a light modern element to the property. The conservatory, by Hamptons, includes a glazed lantern roof and double doors that will give access to an elegant staircase down to the garden area.

The Cloisters development launched
In order to return houses that respect their rural context, Hub developed a series of details using the architectural language of the local agricultural cottages. Carefully selected materials and well-considered brickwork embed these houses in their local surroundings. At the same time the market requirement for 5 bedroom villas is revealed when you step into the generous hallways sitting at the axis of each house. Upper floors make use of every inch of eaves space with a series of cleverly engineered steel trusses, that maximise headroom and provide airy and light upper floors. It has been a real pleasure to work on this project alongside the considerable skills of Jaysam’s craftsmen and site agents, John Nash Landscapes and Pindoria Associates., engineers. The team were tireless in their commitment to ensuring the best final outcome.
