Bathroom Design Studio
It was a pleasure to visit John Naughten at his North London showroom last week to view the range of bathrooms they stock. We particularly loved the Antonio Lupi ranges, and look forward to specifying them in the future.

Coach House restoration complete
HUB’s work on restoring the Coach House at a Country Estate near Newbury is now complete. Along with a great project team, we have been delighted to work with Harriet Parsons from del Buono Gazerwitz Landscape Architects for her garden design that compliments the existing buildings in a quintessentially English style.
Paris under water
HUB’s Office Manager spent a long weekend in a soggy Paris. Despite the swollen Seine – the river was at its highest level in 35 years – the city was as beautiful as ever. A statue of a Zouave soldier on Pont d’Alma acts as a gauge to rising water levels. When water reaches the soldier’s feet, the river is closed. The flood of 1910 saw his shoulders covered. Recently it has been up to his waist. Sadly the Louvre was closed to allow for precious artworks to be moved to safety. That will have to wait until another visit.
It was lovely to see a city that embraces its historic buildings alongside modern architecture – you get glimpses in places like the Montparnasse Tower and La Grande Arche de la Défense – but the heart of the city is historic and totally breathtaking.
Balmain Lodge
HUB have secured planning for this site in Kingston, and worked with the client on a CGI of the approved scheme.
