A great end to our week! These gorgeous farm buildings have been rescued and will have new life given to them for a sustainable future. Today, HUB have gained Planning Approval for the restoration of a Victorian Farmyard to provide 4 homes, including the conversion of a Stone Barn and Smithy near the Earls Barton Conservation Area in Northamptonshire.
The proposals enhance the character of the area and the wider setting of the village.
A glazed link will form the connection between the Stone Barn and its associated extension, resulting in a sympathetic approach that maintains a breathing space between the existing and new development, whilst not dominating the barn.
